Brief
Client for years of RCG Consulting, the collaboration was born for the development of the web platform and the design of its new design. The brief was to build a official website that reflects the solidity and rigor of the study, at the same time communicating the variety and quality of the work carried out in over half a century of profession.

I have developed the institutional website of Studio Pession Associato, Torino-based architecture studio founded by Carlo e Emanuele Pession, with a portfolio that spans from Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games to international collaborations with studios such as Kengo Kuma & Associates. The project required a digital identity capable of restoring the weight of over 50 years of profession, valorizing a heterogeneous catalog — from university buildings to historic castles, from logistics complexes to residential complexes — through clear informative architecture and a minimal design e influential.

The main challenge I faced was structuring an extremely heterogeneous portfolio - historic castle restorations, university campuses, Olympic villages, student residences, logistics buildings, and idea competitions - in a way that would be intuitively explorable for different targets: public and private clients, potential collaborators, universities, and institutions.

I have developed a category-based project filtering system — Residential, University, Sport, Recovery and Conservation, Logistics, Third Sector, Urban Planning and others — which allows you to navigate the catalog without getting lost, always keeping visible the richness of the studio's production. Each project sheet is structured to quickly communicate the scale of the intervention, the type and the partners involved, with particular emphasis on international collaborations with studies such as Kengo Kuma & Associates e Mario Cucinella Architects.

I built the design around an aesthetic clean and rigorous, in line with the visual language of contemporary architecture. The typography is strong and hierarchical, black and white dominates the interface, leaving space for the photography of the projects as the main narrative element. No unnecessary element: every component has a precise function in the story of the studio.

A editorial choice that I shared with the client from the very beginning is the opening of the homepage with a quote from Borges — “a man sets himself the task of drawing the world” — which introduces the reflective and cultured tone of the studio before showing any project, distinguishing Studio Pession from purely commercial communication.

I have curated the editorial work of the study section, condensing over 50 years of professional activity into a coherent and readable narrative, without losing the richness of the journey. The page integrates the presentation of the team with the profiles of the founders and all collaborators, restoring the human dimension of a consolidated reality.

I have optimized the site to ensure high performance even with a richly photographic portfolio, with attention to lazy loading, at image compression and markup structure for organic positioning in searches related to architecture, conservative restoration and university and sports design in the Turin and Italian areas.
